I Was The Scarecrow Premier Dark Music Video

I Was The Scarecrow “Get Down” Video Premier

I Was The Scarecrow is singer/songwriter Peter Vullo and his band. With his twangy acoustic guitar and drawling voice, Vullo paints a dark picture of a used-up young woman, the “Ragdoll,”  in his new video for his song, “Get Down.” The lost young woman, played in the video by Liz Czapski, wanders blankly through a party in a haze of drug addiction as Vullo sings of his disillusionment as his love slips away. This is the debut video from local director Alex Penvose, which was shot in an old attic in a house in Bidwell Park. Last Thursday Vullo also won the award for “Best Bob Dylan Imitator” at the 26th annual Bob Dylan Imitators contest at Nietzsche’s. Look for more from I Was The Scarecrow, but for now check out “Get Down.” —cory perla
