The Falafel Bar may have been more successful in the University Heights neighborhood if they had picked a better storefront and had regular hours – their hours were so limited that it was never convenient. Even with all this though, they underestimated people’s devotion to Amy’s Place a couple blocks down. Amy’s Place serves similiar food (and a greater variety) with cheaper prices and a better atmosphere.

ARTVOICE-please stop supporting this business. Clearly, there are reasons why it is not staying open. The number one reason being the owner. I have never encountered such a heinous individual in my life. Take a look at his record, or stop in while he is working at either location, and you will see what I speak of. Ask his employees how they are treated. Ask former patrons(perhaps one of the many people he has chased out of his restaurant) and you will recognize why his business is failing and why you should stop supporting this local business.
