Having been to Boston's and NYC's restaurant week this year(and many times in years past), I will say that you are wrong. Many restaurant's in these cities extend the promotion all month simply to get customers in the door. Sure restaurant week has some faults, but what you're accusing isn't at all because the restaurants are Buffalo based.

I thought Restaurant Week was a *week* long. Nothing against Fiama or the other restaurants that extended their deals, its just that restaurant week's are successful in other major cities and they don't feel the need to extend theirs. It's kind of silly and maybe a little desperate or greedy. Why wouldn't you just double it up and do two a year instead of dragging it out over a month. Between that and the restaurants that decided it was a get rich quick scheme offering measly portions, I think Buffalo doesn't get it. Should someone have explained it to them?
