1972 Buick Riviera
The boattail bowed for the 1971 model year, and had minor changes made to it the following two years. 1974 saw a more conventional-looking rear end grafted on, which in my opinion made it look just like any other large GM car of the day — pretty UGLY!! A far cry from the original Riviera of 1963, which is still looked on fondly as an automotive styling benchmark.
