Sabres Release 2010-2011 Regular Season Schedule

The Sabres will be kicking off the regular season on October 8th in Ottawa. Their home opener will be a night later, on the 9th, against the Rangers, and enjoy three more at home to kick off the season. Also notable, is a New Year’s day game at home, against Boston. This year’s schedule is back to normal when compared to last year’s Olympics-accommodating pace; there are 11 back-to-back situations spread pretty evenly through the year. There’s only a handful of afternoon games, and only a single dreaded 1PM Saturday start which falls against the Flyers in March. The month of March is also the busiest, with 16 games in 31 days.
