Personally..instead of coming from the “it’s about time” department….this knee jerk reaction should have stalled and dissipated in the “what a dumb idea” department. I am NOT insensitive to the recent tragedy in that area….my heart, thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends of Maksym Sugorovskiy who was killed. Immediately placing barriers was too little…too late////so, keeping up with what has proven to be the WNY rule of response……”kneeJERK” the speed limit was lowered 15 MPH. That may not sound like much, but think about the commuters who, on their way to work face the inevitable “lane lock” whereas 2 vehicles…one in each of the 2 lanes…drive 35MPH…..do I really have to say what happens next? THANK YOU….G Zajdel//Elmwood Vllg.

I drive the route every day, hasn’t added any time to my communte and there is no longer a backup at the traffic light or at the Delaware Ave exit.
