YAK Car Pic of the Day

KONICA MINOLTA DIGITAL CAMERA

Can’t believe it was almost five years ago that I found this 1954 Ford Customline Tudor sitting in a very eclectic used car lot in Falconer. The Customline sat in the middle of Ford’s lineup for ’54, between the cheaper Mainline and fancier Crestline. This would be the third and final year of the styling cycle, before the all-new ’55s hit the showrooms.

Wow! That’s a real find; it’s got the covrted CA black plates, too.

  • I always thought the 54s were the best looking of the style cycle.

I remember a grammar school trip to see these assembled at the plant on the waterfront.

I’d like to see pictures from one of those tours some day.
