YAK Car Pic of the Day

If you’ve driven through Leicester lately (and who hasn’t?), odds are you passed this Ford Fairmont which sits off to the side of the road. Built and sold from 1978 through 1983, this car, believe it or not, was the basis of the 1979 Mustang (which came after the Pinto-based Mustang II), and was built on what is called Ford’s Fox platform. Was the Fairmont exiting? No. Efficient? Yes. And, quite boxy-looking.
