YAK Car Pic of the Day

KONICA MINOLTA DIGITAL CAMERA

Being sick, which we were for a while there, can do strange things. Like leave a permanent imprint of your butt on the couch, where you’re pretty much the slave of TCM. One of the movies I watched while incarcerated was 1984’s Paris, Texas. In it, Harry Dean Stanton’s character, whom you can guess is… um, a bit strange, at one point buys a car to drive to Houston. And of course the car is also a bit off. Isn’t this 1959 Ford Ranchero just perfect? Kudos to the film’s property master!
