YAK Car Pic of the Day

KONICA MINOLTA DIGITAL CAMERA

The 1974 Imperial LeBaron was all new, with styling that made it look a bit more un-Chrysler-like than the 1973 models. While leafing through a Canadian sales folder for the new ’74s, I noticed the specification pages listed “usable” space, length, and width for the luggage compartment. Nowhere, that I could see, did they mention how much unusable space there might be. Lol. I liked the fact that they also listed an “entrance height,” which was 29.9″ for the front doors. Didn’t specify if that was Canadian inches or not. Lol II. Passed by this red one in Wilson a couple of autumns ago.

A lumbering hulk that was no advantage to anybody other than the steel industry and obviously, the oil companies.
