YAK Car Pic of the Day


The last time I passed by this 1960 Chevrolet Biscayne, the paint was looking pretty tired. But it was outside of a shop which takes care of problems like this, so I’m hoping that it looks better now than it did last spring when I took this pic in Cheektowaga. The Biscayne, as we all know, was the cheapest full-sized Chevy you could buy back in 1960; the cheapest of the cheap was the Utility Sedan, which the brochure describes as “Popular for business use. In addition to trunk space, luggage area of 31 cu. ft. replaces rear seat with space for sample cases.” (aka the business coupe — see below)
