YAK Car Pic of the Day

If you like ’em big, this 1992 Chevy Caprice station wagon is right up your alley. Hopefully, you live in a wide alley or you may be leaving the car somewhere down the street. (My Uncle Ray wanted a Caprice sedan in ’95, but he couldn’t drive it through the space between his house and the house next door to get back to his garage. He bought a Monte Carlo.) These wagons, and their Buick and Olds counterparts, are probably the last of a breed — h-u-g-e wagons based on equally huge sedans. Nowadays everyone wants a crossover. Hate to tell most of you crossover owners, but what you really have in your garage is a station wagon that’s been renamed by the marketing deptartment. Oh, and they marked-up the price while they were at it! Saw this white barge last spring on good ol’ Tonawanda.
