WNY Hispanic American Vetrans Memorial Committee to Place Wreath at Monument Honoring Vetrans

Tomorrow, Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 12 noon, members of the WNY Hispanic American Veterans Memorial Committee invites the community to join them as a wreath is placed at the Hispanic American Veterans Memorial at the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park in celebration of Veterans Day.

“Our aim today is to recognize all those who have fallen, in the name of freedom, and all those who have served past present and future. We cannot and will not allow their memory to be forgotten. Our monument will stand vigilant as a reminder, and as a token of appreciation, to all our veterans, their service, and their sacrifice,” said Angelo M. Otero, Vice Chairman of the WNYHAVMC.

Hispanic Americans have fought in every conflict in which the United States has ever participated. The monument is located between the Korean and Rust Bucket memorials, the public is invited to attend.
