YAK Car Pic of the Day

Like your British sports cars to have an edge? How about a wedge — as in wedge-shaped front end. That’s what we have with this Triumph TR7, seen a while back in a Wheatfield driveway. The TR7 was sold from 1975-81; it’s a kind of odd bit of trivia that the TR7 was actually available in the States before it went on sale in the U.K., as pre-production demand for the new car was high on this side of the pond. A convertible was added to the mix for 1978; also, in late 1977 they somehow managed to cram a Rover V-8 under the bonnet for export to the U.S., and they were badged as the TR8.
