YAK Car Pic of the Day

It was movie night at the YAK offices last evening, and we watched 1965’s Dear Brigitte, a Jimmy Stewart flick about troubles with his college’s humanities department vs. the sciences (he teaches poetry); and for good measure he has a mathematical genius son (Billy Mumy) who has an infatuation with Brigitte Bardot (what boy didn’t in 1965?). I cringed a lot at the silliness, but I did like Stewart’s character’s 1956 Mercury Monterey station wagon. You can see in the two pics below just how much the Merc was based on the Ford; they were basically the same car.
