YAK Car Pic of the Day

On my way home from yesterday’s Buffalo Mass Mob I passed by this 1993 Mazda MX-3 sitting in a lot in Tonawanda (and yes, it was pouring rain). I honestly can’t remember the last time I saw one of these. A four-seater hatchback, the MX-3 was on sale in our part of the world from 1991-96, and was available with a standard 1.6L four or an optional 1.8L V6. It was pretty compact, with an overall length of just under 166 inches (for comparison sake, a new Hyundai Accent hatchback is 162 inches long). In Canada, for some reason, it was sold as the MX-3 Presidia. Go figure.
