69 amx sepia buf copy

This 1969 AMC AMX is owned by one of the area’s most-beloved entertainer/entrepeneurs, and can be seen many days (and nights) parked just a bit off the street in the heart of Downtown Buffalo. Which is just where we saw it last evening. Essentially, AMC carved the AMX out of the larger Javelin by halving the car, removing the part which contained the rear seat, and putting it back together again. The AMX was great for AMC’s reputation, but wasn’t enough at that point in time to save the company. Pretty rare car these days. And no, sepia wasn’t a factory color.
