Rally to Save Times Beach Nature Preserve Tomorrow

There’s a rally tomorrow (12/27) to preserve Times Beach Nature Preserve. 12:30-1:30pm. 10628876_10203724415643745_7348965542498525021_o

  • Matthew Ricchiazzi

Saving the Times Beach Nature Preserve is the wrong fight to be had.

The real issue is waterfront highway removal.

    • Chris S

you are advocating the removal of a highway servicing the south towns….. I guess you do not live there. Nice que bono

      • Matthew Ricchiazzi

They can take the 190 to the 90 and get to Hamburg just fine.

      • Chris S

I live in hamburg, you are being selfish and ignorant

      • Matthew Ricchiazzi

The selfish and ignorant position would be to think that your quick commute is worth depriving the rest of the city from having worthwhile waterfront neighborhoods. If you want to live closer to work, then move to Buffalo.

      • Chris S

so just more of the typical “can’t mind your own business bull” from the likes of you. People like me worked my while life to get out of Buffalo and in the suburbs. We saved our money and made decisions on where to move based on routes to work, ect. GO GET A FRIGGEN LIFE and mind your own business. Im sure you are convinced climate change is destroying the multiverse so think about the carbon footprint you weirdos will create trying to make all of us travel an extra 30 mins in our V8s when currently the drive time is about 9 minutes. PS…there is plenty of property on the lakefront, but I doubt you have ever been there mr armchair enviromentalist

      • Matthew Ricchiazzi

So why would we build a city based on the interests and tastes of your generation? You’re not going to be around that much longer, and given your stated biases against the city, you’re not going to move back. So enjoy your retirement in Hamburg and don’t drive into the city if taking the 90 is too offensive to you.

      • Chris S

you are hilarious. My generation…first retarded statement. “You” are building a city…second retarded statement. “stated bias against the city”…never did that…so third retarded statement. Not going to be around much longer….4th.

Keep up the good work frosting your tips and critiquing useless politicians on there “buttoning” of suit coats.

      • Patrick Blake

If you don’t live in the city , it is not your concern. How about the next time they build something in Hamburg, the people from the east side of Buffalo tell you how it should be done. I don’t care if your drive home is two hours, the people of Buffalo are the ones who will decide what we do with OUR waterfront. We can’t go to Hamburg beach, but you think you can tell us what we should do with OUR waterfront, no way.

    • Chris S

your paper sucks. “Transform the skyway into a pedestrian park, The public will tolerate nothing else.” You are delusional

  • If this turns out to be Brian Higgins’ future retirement home it will be worth it.

    • Chris S

he will retire in Jamestown, where he has done such great work
