YAK Car Pic of the Day

If you’re looking to stand out from the crowd, one way is to show up in a 1969 Morris Minor convertible, like this one which YAK’s friend Nick in Arlington found one day over the summer sitting in Falls Church, Virginia. In production from 1948-71, the Minor, with over 1.3 million produced, was to the Brits what the Beetle was to the Germans, only it didn’t quite catch on in the rest of the world as the venerable old VW did. That certainly increases its coolness factor now, as how many of these have you ever seen on the road in North America? I didn’t think so.
