YAK Car Pic of the Day

KONICA MINOLTA DIGITAL CAMERA

It’s just a shame what happens to some once-elegant cars, like this 1967 Ford Thunderbird hardtop. In my opinion — and this is my blog so, yes, you have to put up with my opinion — this basest of the T-Birds (no vinyl tops, no landau bars, no fake wire wheel covers…) was the prettiest of the ’67s, although it wasn’t the most unusual. That title fell to the first-ever four-door T-Bird which debuted for 1967 but disappeared after the 1971 model year. This white hardtop was seen a couple of summers ago, sitting by the roadside just west of Batavia.
