YAK Car Pic of the Day

KONICA MINOLTA DIGITAL CAMERA

Driving through Lockport one day not too long ago, I passed this 1960 Chevy Corvair 700 sitting by the roadside. A mile or so back we had just  been passed by a woman in a ’67 Corvair Monza convertible, top down and enjoying the sunshine. I couldn’t see whether or not she had a copy of Ralph Nader’s book “Unsafe At Any Speed” on the front seat. Somehow I doubt it. What I did notice was that her drop-top did not have dog dish hubcaps like this one does. Her loss.

Always thought the 60 Corvair couldn’t make up its mind on which end was coming and which was going.
