Driving through the Town of Wilson yesterday I came across this like-new 1972 Dodge Dart Custom sedan. The Mopar compacts — Dart and Plymouth Valiant — were always good value cars and rarely flashy. As you can see in the photos. The only Darts to have any pizzaz were the GTs of the 1960s, and the Swingers of the 1970s. The Swinger was pretty much replaced by the Demon, which itself was pretty much replaced by the OPEC oil embargoes — too much horsepower, too little mpg.
