First off, apologies for the blurriness of this photo, but the subject matter really caught my eye. It’s a 1964 Ford Country Squire, in a scene from the 1964 movie Goldfinger. These cars aren’t that rare, but to see one in this configuration, especially back in 1964 when it was new, is something else. I’m speaking of course, about the fact that it’s wearing dog dish hubcaps instead of full wheel covers. OMG. And here’s a bit of trivia for you: when I was in grammar school at St. Mary of the Lake School in Hamburg, the nuns would arrive from the convent daily in a green 1964 Ford Country Squire with dog dish hubcaps — and — black sidewall tires! If only they knew they were driving a real collector’s item. This photo (and others) can be found on the IMCDb web site.
