YAK Car Pic of the Day

66 linc blk whtfld copy

Whenever I see a 1966 Lincoln Continental, or any of these big Lincolns with the suicide doors, it reminds me of the Kennedy presidential era. And its unfortunate ending. These cars were — and still are — classy with a capital C. (I guess that would be Classy, then.) The suicide doors first appeared on the 1961 models, and survived several restylings, appearing for the final time on the 1969 models. This black sedan was spotted this past Friday in Wheatfield.
