YAK Car Pic of the Day

This 1968 Chevy Camaro SS was looking pretty good yesterday, sitting in a parking lot just across from the Niagara River in Tonawanda. The SS was an option group, not a model designation, as the only models available for ’68 were the sport coupe and the convertible, in either six- or eight-cylinder form. And here’s a YAK CarSpotting Tip: when trying to differentiate between the ’67 and the ’68 Camaro remember that only the ’67s had vent windows, the ’68s had government-mandated side marker lights, and the back-up lights on the ’67s were under the bumper while in ’68 they were integrated with the taillights.
