YAK Car Pic of the Day

KONICA MINOLTA DIGITAL CAMERA

With a mere 14,628 produced, you’re not going to see a 1960 Corvair 500 Club Coupe every day — not even at most car shows. Especially one which looks like it just drove out of the showroom. But, I did see this one over the weekend at the Antique Automobile Club of America 2014 Eastern Spring Meet, which was held at UB’s North Campus. The 500 was the cheapest Corvair model produced for 1960, and was also available as a four-door sedan. List price for the Club Coupe started at a mere $1,984.
