YAK Car Pic of the Day

This 1978 Ford Bronco was spotted a few weekends ago by YAK reader and local history buff Steve Cichon — where else, but in Buffalo’s Parkside neighborhood. This Bronco may be somewhat historical itself: an old Ford truck from the 1970s without a trace of rust showing! Just kidding, Ford fans. But this one is somewhat remarkable-looking, owing perhaps to its Canadian citizenship, where we all know they salt their fries more than their roads. And here’s a YAK CarSpotting Tip: the ’78 and ’79 Broncos looked pretty much alike, but you can tell this is a 1978 because that was the final year the round headlights were offered, while the ’77s and ’80s had totally different styling.
