YAK Car Pic of the Day

Rule No. 1: Always check behind every chain link fence you pass, because you never know when there’s a 1959 Chevrolet Impala Sport Sedan on the other side of the brush. Like this one, seen yesterday while taking the “scenic route” through Niagara Falls. GM’s big hardtops had a roof-full of glass back in ’59; well, maybe not so much the roof itself, but the “A,” “B,” and “C” pillars were so thin it was like wrap-around glass. And on some of GM’s ’59s, the view from inside looking out was much better than that of those standing outside looking at the car. They certainly were pieces of art. And to paraphrase an old saying, “I don’t know much about art, but I know what I don’t like.”
