YAK Car Pic of the Day

60 ford wagon 007

Needed a break from the Sochi Olympics (Motto: Unattractive Athletes Need Not Apply) and switched over to BBCAmerica, where they were showing, for the umpteenth time, the 1963 James Bond movie From Russia With Love. And now I’m polishing my resume to send off to Hollywood. What’s with the people they hire to manage the automobiles used in the movies? Saturday it was the 1965 Cadillac hearse in Parkland (which takes place in 1963); last night it was this 1960 Ford Ranch Wagon, which in some scenes is a two-door, and in others a four-door. Okay, so you needed to use two cars for whatever reason. Did you think we wouldn’t notice the difference? Feh!
