YAK Car Pic of the Day

Sometimes you just have to look w-a-y back off the road and see what you find. Like yesterday, driving through downtown Sanborn when I came across this sad-looking 1968 Triumph TR4A under a blanket of snow. I can’t imagine how restorable this thing is, or how long it’s been there; but it doesn’t look too happy. The TR4 was a four-cylinder sports car introduced for model year 1961, followed by the TR4A (suspension upgrade) from ’65 through ’68; a TR5 had a straight six (’67-’69). Then came the all-new TR6 in 1969.
