YAK Car Pic of the Day

Here’s a question: WWJD? And of course, seeing that you’re reading that here, it means What Would Jesus Drive? That’s hard to say with so many choices. But here’s something we do know: Pope Francis can be seen driving around the Vatican in this 1984 Renault 4 hatchback. The 160,000-mile car was given to him after his election as pope, by an Italian priest from Verona. And Francis actually drives himself places from time-to-time — try and imagine some of his predecessors doing that. Whether you’re a Catholic or not, you’ve got to give the guy credit for attempting to change the face of his office. The Renault 4 was in production from 1961-92 without many major changes, and over eight million of them were built.
