YAK Car Pic of the Day

Here’s yet another oddity: a late 1970s Lancia Beta Zagato, seen a few weeks back in Youngstown. The Zagato was based on the Lancia Beta Coupe, and was sold for only a very short time in the U.S. by the Italian automaker, which is now an arm of Fiat. As you can probably gather, the Zagato (called Spider in other markets) is a targa-like vehicle — the rearward portion of the roof opens convertible-style. This blue example, although it looks like someone spray-painted it from a can — looks very salvageable.
