This 1968 Plymouth Fury II is pretty cheap-looking —  the 1970 Sport Fury rims don’t really help much, either. But it wasn’t the least expensive full-sized Plymouth available that year. That honor fell to the sensibly-named Fury I, favorite of police departments everywhere. At the other end of the scale was the VIP; supposedly a competitor to Ford’s LTD and Chevy’s Caprice, it never really caught on. Looking at the photo below, it’s no wonder why.
