This 1970 Ford Ranchero GT was seen a couple of winters ago in a Killeen, Texas used car lot… a used car lot with a “Keep Out” sign posted nearby. I don’t imagine they make many sales — the truck was still there this past spring when I went back. Looking through the old brochures, it’s evident that Ford’s airbrush artists had a hand in producing the subsequent 1971 Ranchero brochure. It used the same copy and photos as the 1970 model, with “1971” replacing “1970” wherever it appeared, and the minor trim changes (grille, emblems, paint stripes, wheels) obviously airbrushed in.
