YAK Car Pic of the Day

There was a time when you walked into a car dealer, and the biggest choice you had to make was color. It had gotten a little more involved when this 1940 Ford Tudor was new. There was the Ford, and the Ford Deluxe (this one — which I saw a while back out in Newstead — swell as it may seem, was not the Deluxe). Then of course there were Tudors, Fordors, coupes, business coupes, convertibles, and station wagons — all available with a six or V-8. See ’em all here. Still though, compared to today, those were slim pickins.
