YAK Car Pic of the Day

.

As they used to like to say on Monty Python’s Flying Circus, “And now for something completely different…”  — check out this 1974 Cadillac Coupe de Ville. In the past couple of years I’ve run across it twice: the first time in the summer of 2012 at the Cadillac Show at Keyser Cadillac in Williamsville, and about a month ago at The NACC Auto Art Show in Niagara Falls. Wow. The paint… the horns… the interior… the metalwork… and the owner, who, even never having seen him before you would have picked him out of the crowd at both shows! He told me a lot of reinforcement had to be done to bear the added weight of those horns on the hood — it’s all solid metal. Like it or not, it’s memorable and draws a crowd every time!
