YAK Car Pic of the Day

When I took the photo of this 1957 Buick Super a couple of summers ago, there were three other ’57 Buicks sitting on the Pine Avenue lot in Niagara Falls. This one was the most expensive of the four when it was new, but was probably one of the roughest-looking cars the day I was there. Buick’s 1957 lineup was very busy, with five different series on two different wheelbases (see ’em all here — there’ll be a quiz later). They finally made things a little less complicated for 1959, after a truly disastrous 1958 sales slump.
