YAK Car Pic of the Day

.

.

With the emblems missing, it’s hard to say if this 1961 Cadillac two-door hardtop is a Sixty-Two or a Coupe de Ville (the de Ville being a bit ritzier on the inside). As you can see, I’ve visited this car more than once —  it was late this past winter when I first found it in the lot of a Youngstown repair shop, with what at the time looked like a new set of tires. I passed by again yesterday and it’s still there, albeit now facing the opposite direction. And those tires still have that blue stuff coating the white band; I guess it doesn’t wear off very fast when the car just sits there. It looks pretty complete, so I’m assuming someone’s fixing it up. Eventually. — Jim Corbran, You Auto Know
