YAK Car Pic of the Day

.

.

I guess it’s old movie week here at the YAK home office. Actually, every week is old movie week here at the YAK home office. Last night we watched the 1941 Humphrey Bogart movie High Sierra, which at the beginning totally confused me because I thought we were watching The Treasure of the Sierra Madre. Close (well, not really), but no cigar. Also close was the continuity in High Sierra. Roy Earle (Bogart) is at times seen driving a 1938 Plymouth coupe (pictured) and at other times it’s a 1937 model. Of course, he had only one car — way to keep track, continuity guys! Also, in the photo you may notice another star of the movie, Zero the dog, who played the part of Pard the dog. He was at times a real scene-stealer.
