YAK Car Pic of the Day

.

.

Either this is not a 1969 Oldsmobile 4-4-2 (maybe one of the Cutlass models with 4-4-2 badges added on), or some of its parts (like the trunklid) have been replaced or, (like the grille) repainted. At any rate, it’s not an entirely stock 4-4-2 (especially with that horrendous spoiler tacked onto the rear end). Olds’ answer to the Pontiac GTO, the 4-4-2 (four-speed, four-bbl, two exhausts) began life an an option package on certain two-door 1965 F-85 and Cutlass models. By the following year it was a separate series. This green hardtop is currently for sale in Lewiston.
