YAK Car Pic of the Day

It’s turning into Benz week, as yesterday I found this 1983 Mercedes-Benz 380SEC for sale on the side of the road in Lewiston. Over 11,000 of them were built from 1981-85 — the first of this generation being the 280SE (with a 2.8-liter straight six). Over the years there was the SE (four-door sedan), SEL (longer wheelbase four-door sedan), and the SEC (two-door coupe/hardtop). Of all the varieties of the W126 (as this series was officially named at M-B), this 380SEC is the rarest.
