Pennsylvania AG Files Criminal Charges as Business Leaders Whine

Click here to read how Pennsylvania Attorney General Kathleen Kane is charging Exxon subsidiary XTO Energy with five counts of unlawful conduct under the state’s Clean Streams Law and three counts under the Solid Waste Management Act for leaking 50,000 gallons of toxic frack water into a tributary of the Susquehanna River in 2010.
In response, gas industry leaders say the prosecution creates a “hostile business environment.” Kathryn Z. Klaber, president of the Marcellus Shale Coalition says it “creates an untenable business climate.”
There they go again. Pro-frackers always obsessing about the environment and the climate.
