YAK Car Pic of the Day

I wonder if this 1953 Kaiser Dragon was ever owned by the Captain & Tennille (hah! look it up!). Kaiser probably knew they were on their last legs (they’d be gone after the ’55 models), but they still had a few interesting tricks up their sleeves. The ’53 Dragon (now a separate model) was still the same basic car introduced for 1951, but it came standard with a grained vinyl roof, radio, heater, and the coolest-looking interior in its class (according to me). This green Dragon was on exhibit as a guest car at this summer’s Nash show in Batavia.
