YAK Car Pic of the Day




Don’t see many of these anymore — a 1963 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 four-door hardtop,. It’s sitting in the back of a used car lot in The Falls with Ontario plates so, maybe it’s a breakdoon, eh?

If you don’t remember Oldsmobile, they were what you strived for car-wise, after you’d already owned a Chevy and a Pontiac. After the Olds, you were supposed to buy a Buick then a Cadillac. Oh well, the best-laid plans…

    My father always claimed the Olds were testbeds for design features seen two or three years later on Caddys. I don’t know if he was right, but he used that line on more than one of his Caddy owning friends.
