YAK Car Pic of the Day

So you need a car. And you need a truck? Here’s one that’s both: the 1987 GMC Caballero (and you thought I was going to say Chevy El Camino); the brochure called it a “luxury-car pickup.” This was, obviously, the GMC version of the El Camino, indistinguishable from each other from more than ten feet away. To further confuse things, this one has a Chevrolet nameplate on the grille where it should say Caballero. All the other badging adds up though (including the one on the steering wheel) so let’s assume it really is the GMC version. This was the final year for both the Caballero and the El Camino, making this one, which is for sale in a Cambria yard, maybe worth a bit more (especially considering its condition).
