YAK Car Pic of the Day

This 1968 Pontiac LeMans convertible is sitting at a used car lot on Military Road in Tonawanda, just in time for top-down weather. The bad news is, it has a sold sign in the window. The good news is (or might be), it’s had that sign in the window for a while now, but the car is still there. So, who knows? This one has the OHC 250 CID six-cylinder engine; two different 350 CID V-8s were also offered. Often time I post a link to an old brochure here, and today is no exception. But, if you’ve never clicked on one before, check this one out. Pontiac brochures were known for their beautiful artwork, mostly done by the duo of Fitz and Van (Art Fitzpatrick, who drew the cars, and Van Kaufman, who did the backgrounds). You can read about them here at pontiacsonline.com. And see the ’68 brochure here.
