YAK Car Pic of the Day

.

.

Up until yesterday afternoon it seemed like it would be convertible weather… finally. Well, maybe not just yet, but it won’t be long until cars like this gorgeous 1955 Buick Roadmaster are dropping their tops and sitting outside of Ted’s, Connors, and Red Top. The Roadmaster convertible was a huge, simply huge car weighing in at over 4,400 lbs. and riding on a 127-inch wheelbase. Only 4,739 of them were produced, and you could have bought a new one for $3,552 — pretty serious money back then. This one was spotted a couple of days ago in the parking lot of a Tonawanda speed shop.
