YAK Car Pic of the Day

.

.

The thrifty businessman back in the day might have been seen driving around in a car like this 1950 Chevrolet Styline Special Business Coupe. What made these two-door models business coupes was the absence of a back seat, and a shorter roof front-to-back. Very handy for carrying those sample cases around in. Business coupes disappeared from Chevy line-up by 1962; the later ones were merely two- (or four-) door sedans with no back seat. This complete-looking stock example was seen yesterday while driving through the Town of Hartland. See the whole 1950 Chevy line here.
