YAK Car Pic of the Day

Whenever I see an old family-type sedan with these stupid-looking wheels and tires, I just want to scream. Like Milton Berle in drag, it just makes a bad situation worse. Not that old family sedans, like this 1960 Chevrolet Biscayne, were bad, but it was the bottom of the full-sized Chevy line. And let’s face it, when it was new your Dad or your Grandpa never would have treated it like this. He would have kept it clean, changed the oil regularly, and occasionally let you try and find your favorite AM station on the radio that didn’t even have pre-set buttons! But mag wheels? Nuh-uh. This Ermine White, snowy Biscayne was photographed a while back in a Clarence parking lot. New, it had a starting price of $2,262 (non-pushbutton radio, extra).
