YAK Car Pic of the Day

.

.

This Ford Bronco (circa 1966-77) has certainly seen better days. And from the dangling tag and its overall condition, I wouldn’t be surprised to hear that it’s spent the better part of the past decade sitting right on this spot. The Bronco, you may recall, was Ford’s original answer to the Jeep CJ and the International Scout. And it was successful enough to last though twelve model years virtually unchanged — thumbing through the old brochures, I noticed that some years Ford didn’t even bother to change the photos! This brown-and-white wagon (the Bronco originally was also offered as a half-cab/pickup and a roadster) can still be seen languishing in a Ransomville backyard.
